AJ HAIR & LASHES EMPLOYEE RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

 

I. TIP POLICY

1. Tips from customers will be evenly shared among all staff directly serving and supporting during the shift.
2. For group or family customers: Tips will be evenly split among all staff who participated in serving the
group.
3. If a customer specifies that a tip is for one specific staff member, the tip will remain with that individual.
4. Special requests: If a customer specifically requests one technician for service, the tip will still be shared
unless otherwise specified.

II. CUSTOMER SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Staff who arrive early and are ready to work will be prioritized to serve customers first.
2. Avoid disputes over customers; management will oversee fair task distribution.
3. If a customer has booked an appointment with a specific technician, that technician will be given priority.

III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE DUTIES

1. All staff must equally share cleaning tasks, including:
- Head Spa Room cleaning
- Kitchen cleaning
- Toilet cleaning
- Washing and drying towels
- General cleaning and tidying of shared spaces
2. Each staff member must complete their assigned tasks before finishing their shift.
3. Cleaning duties will rotate weekly to maintain fairness


IV. WORKING HOURS AND ATTENDANCE


1. Staff must arrive on time as per the assigned work schedule.
2. If late, staff must call or message Jenny or Andy in advance, providing a valid reason.
3. Any request for leave or shift change must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
V. WEEKLY MEETINGS
1. A 10-minute team meeting will be held every Monday to update and address workplace matters.
2. Attendance is mandatory unless there is a valid reason communicated in advance.
3. Meeting Agenda:
- Weekly performance evaluation
Announcements of new policies or schedule adjustments
Discussion and feedback from staff


VI. WORKPLACE BEHAVIOR AND CONDUCT


1. Always be friendly, courteous, and respectful to customers and colleagues.
2. Maintain clean and tidy personal hygiene.
3. Follow task assignments and directions from management.
4. Report any issues or concerns to management promptly.

 

VII. POLICY FOR VIOLATIONS


1. First-time offenders will receive a verbal reminder.
2. Repeated violations may result in tip deductions or schedule adjustments.

3. Multiple violations or severe misconduct may lead to termination of employment.
